The adjustable straps mean they work with a range of foot sizes, and will still fit as your child's foot grows. They can be worn directly against the skin, and are comfortable to wear all day. However, like all "foot fins" if sand gets in they can rub. This can be avoided by wearing a sock, or neoprene boot, or simply rinsing after walking in the sand. They are easy to use and a great aid when learning how to snorkel.
